TEMPLATE DOCUMENT

Designed for more ways to navigate.

PULSEFORM includes a thoughtful accessibility foundation for a modern fitness template. Every finished site needs testing with its real content, integrations, and audience before launch.

Last template review: September 2026

OUR APPROACH

Accessibility is part of the build, not a finishing touch.

This template is built to support clear structure, flexible layouts, and keyboard-friendly interactions. It does not claim conformance with a particular accessibility standard because accessibility depends on the final content, services, custom code, and testing performed by each purchaser.

Clear structure

Semantic landmarks, headings, tables, lists, labels, and descriptive controls create a more understandable page flow.

Flexible interaction

Core navigation, forms, filters, accordions, and buttons are designed to work with keyboard input.

Respectful motion

Reduced-motion preferences are respected for template transitions and animations where supported by the browser.

INCLUDED FOUNDATION

What is already considered in the template

Navigation & focus

A skip-to-content link, visible focus indicators, logical navigation links, and accessible names for icon controls are included.

Forms & feedback

Labels, input types, validation feedback, required-field messaging, and status messaging support clearer form completion.

Responsive layouts

Pages adapt across mobile, tablet, and desktop, with scrollable tables where a compact layout would lose information.

Motion preferences

The global style layer reduces animation and transition duration when a visitor requests reduced motion.

Important: Third-party embeds, maps, payment forms, analytics banners, videos, and any future custom components are not covered by this foundation and must be evaluated separately.

LAUNCH TESTING

A practical review before publishing.

Use this checklist as a starting point alongside the requirements that apply to your business and audience.

  1. 01 · KEYBOARD

    Navigate without a mouse

Tab through every page, operate menus and dialogs, and ensure focus remains visible and predictable.

  2. 02 · CONTENT

    Review headings and labels

Confirm page hierarchy, form labels, link wording, image alternatives, and error messages match the final content.

  3. 03 · VISUALS

    Check contrast and zoom

Test colour contrast, text resizing, browser zoom, reflow, and touch target spacing at key breakpoints.

  4. 04 · SERVICES

    Test every integration

Review third-party forms, payments, maps, booking tools, cookie notices, media, and authentication in production.

CUSTOMIZATION

Keep accessibility intact as you evolve.

  • Preserve semantic HTML, associated labels, visible focus styling, and descriptive button text when changing components.
  • Write useful alt text for meaningful images; use empty alt text only for decorative images that add no information.
  • Avoid communicating important information by colour, motion, image, or hover state alone.
  • Include people with diverse access needs in your testing process whenever possible.

FEEDBACK

Set up a clear accessibility contact path.

Before launch, provide a monitored channel for accessibility questions or alternative-format requests. The placeholder below is configured from Admin and is not a live support commitment.
